The local bass club that I fish with had a road runner paper tourny this weekend so we decided to fish Choke. For fishing from 7am-2pm it was a good day. 4 of my keepers came on flukes but I can't say what color wink !!! The biggest fish to come on a fluke was 19 1/2 inches. The Best part of the day is that I caught a personal best, she went 23 3/4 inches. On my digital scale she was 7.03 lbs, I hate rapala scales! So, (shot story long) I am guessing she was about 7.75 because at my last tourny my scale was weighing about 3/4 lb light, (compared to official scales). All of my fish came in the 3-12 ft range and the big girl was caught at 2 pm, when it was 102 degrees crying on a 4 inch worm , no less! It was a tough day for my partner with only 1 keeper. But fishin4gdv makes one heck of a guide and net man. (In all honesty last weekend he caught 14 keepers at bastrop and I brought home a goose egg flehan ). So here is a pic of her. I know she isn't the biggest to come out of there lately but she is still the biggest for me. (Supposedly there was a 14 lber caught this weekend!)

Just for the fun! The latest weather forecast is only calling for a high of 100. A little cool down from your day.
