Not too many say bad stuff about Dolphin docks. I went on the Pelican years ago. I've been on the Adventurer and had a good time, a few years ago. They go out of Aransas Pass now. I've never heard anything good about Wharf Cat or Scat Cat.

+1 for Deep Sea HQ
Dolphin docks lost my business forever a few years ago.

The adeventurer is a great boat. We use it every year. They are in between Port A and Aransass Pass. Type in Port A Offshore Adeventures and you will get there homepage. I highly Rec. them.

I have been on Tuna trips with both docks.. either one will get the job done. No complaints here.

Dolphin Docks - "buyer beware". Electric reels on the Scat Cat for bottom fishing, which is what they are running now during the red snapper season and in deep water those can sure be arm savers. It doesn't sound like much sport but cranking up snapper from 200+ feet, not to mention checking your bait with 16 oz's of lead weights, can put the "tireds" on you real quick.

Dorf,
Keith runs the Gulf Eagle. . . .been out on the 48hr trips as well as the 8 & 12hr. Never had a bad one.
His crew is top notch.

Anyone can catch a lot of fish when they're hungry . . . . My favorite days are the ones where the fish don't want to eat, but I make 'em do it anyway.
