I have had great luck with hiring guides at Toledo Bend and Lake Fork and now want to make a trip to Sam Rayburn. I have only been to the lake one time and did not have any success. Can anyone recommend a good guide. We will be making a trip in October so I want to book the guide now so I will have a good chance of getting the date we need.

Ben Matsubu, however with the PAA at Toledo during October he'll have limited dates available. Ben's a deep water specialist and a super nice guy. http://talonlures.com/benmatsubu.aspx

Stephen Johnston or his dad would both be great picks.

Come on guys? I know someone has fished with Rayburn guides and can make additional recommendations for a guide that they have fished with and had success.

I played football with Tommy Martin's son in college and Tommy is a great guy and I have fished with him on a couple of different occasions and he can put you on the fish. He is a great guy and you will have a great time with him and he will teach you everything you need to know about the lake. Pm me if you want his contact information I have his cell number that you can reach him at.

Yup Tommy's the best, if I was booking a trip that would be my first call. If he's booked give me a call, we can set you up
