My wife works there, it was right beside Bell Helicopter.
But why in the world would they shoot it ?? They have no
thrill for the live catch I guess. LOL...

Radio said a car ran over it and the gator was in bad shape so they decided to put it down. Does not look like it though.

Dinner! Fried alligator tail for me! Nah...too big. Big ones are too tough to chew and don't taste all that good.  On the other hand, if you can get hold of one about 5 feet long, I'll help you skin it and fry it.
