I have seen a ton around boerne and dad has a pair on his tank near brownwood.

There has been a pair at the TowerBay area on Lake lewisville. They have been around for a couple of yrs....
 Can we keep him as a pet ??

those damn things are everywhere around san antonio, cool ducks, and pretty looking too, but any duck that can wipe out a corn field around here isn't thought of as beatiful wildlife, ever seen a duck grabbing on the side of a corn stalk? haha, it'll freak you out.
