It sucked don't get excited!!

I caught 4 fish and alot of sun and a small buzz.

The pipe is still there, nobody cut it off. I aced it today no problems...sweet.

up river first,

then floated past Rochelle's about 1/2 mile, then paddled back.

My dad and I took out there yesterday around 5:00 - we came down from 16. I caught alot more than a little sun and not much of a buzz - couldn't drink em as fast as I was sweating them out!

Fishing yesterday wasn't as good as the day before, but over all we did pretty good on black bass.

How long did it take you to come down from 16 to Rochelles? We fished the river from 16 down to Garland bend and then went back up to 16 over the course of Sat evening thru Sunday around noon. It took us a while, so I am assuming your trip was a 2 day trip?

Don't want to hijack Stick's thread, but yes it was a 2 day trip - we camped about half way Saterday night. We were moving pretty slow trying to fish the spots that looked good.

Sorry we missed you. We took our time getting down river and used all the hours in the day. We got to spend a lot of time fishing and had some luck. Hope we can get together on the next trip.

Where is Rochelle's?

Rochelles is on FM 4, west Graford and north of Palo Pinto. From Arlington take 20 to Weatherford and exit at 180. Go west on 180 thru Mineral Wells to Palo Pinto. Right as you get into Palo Pinto look for FM 4 north. It will be on your right. (If you see FM 4 south on your left then turn around, you passed it.) Take FM 4 north about 12 miles, you'll cross the Brazos and Rochelles is on your right just past the bridge.
OR.......
You can take 337 north out of Mineral Wells about 11 miles to 254, left on 254 a few miles to FM 4, left on 4 about 5 miles to the bridge.

yes highfly, stick is the one with the yellow yak with the shark teeth! He's a really good buddy of mine. Not much of fisherman though! Just kidding look at the 9-4 in his signature. I'm just jealous I guess.
