I went home to El Paso and made a stop The Cattleman's at Indian Cliff Ranch. I have to say it is the best steak hands down to any I have had here in the DFW area. I had a 14oz rib eye that came with baked potatoe, family style ranch beans, coleslaw, and bread; all for 22.99. This ranch is also used as a movie set for many movies. If anyone gets a chance you have to try this place out and its mini zoo. Best part of the zoo is we got there as they were feeding the rattle snakes with baby rabbits and mice. Those big ones didn't have a problem either with the rabbits. Also, they are not part of the chain they been around for many years.

Used to eat there often when I worked out of Van Horn and had to make a run to the DA's office in the Pass. Good grub for sure. We just happened to have several of our law enforcement meetings there. Miss those days. Stop in at Michaels in Sierra Blanca too. Best stacked enchiladas you'll ever eat. Don't forget the fried eggs on top either.
