parked under 180 bridge paddled up river 2.5 miles or so ,caught 2 small,smallmouth on beatlespins, 1 small catfish on baby rattletrap ,and 2 drum? or suckers of some kind on rattletrap. saw 1 airboat ,otherwise had the river to myself ,about 2 miles up really pretty scenery ,nice water ,good camping .on sand bars maybe next time ,i was a little worried about my pick up ,but no one botherd it 10-4

I seen the same airboat you seen I bet, I seen him today he blew by me hauling ace about 15 feet from me.

Is there deeper water under 180 than hwy 4?

but The River attracts a certain element no matter where you fish

the water is over my head in a couple places above 180 bridge ,dont know exactly how deep,i would like to go back up river from 180 bridge and camp out ,really looked nice about 2 miles up ,i would nt want to leave my p/u truck there all night ,may be get someone to drop you off and come back next day?
