While I had my boat in the marina slip this weekend, I took a couple of shots of my trailer. It's a Magic Tilt Magic Trail ALS1928 ... all aluminum I-bars and galvanized steel.

I had wanted to replace the bunkboards on it with Ultimate Bunkboards, but the boards on it are simply too massive ... it has 2 4X8's 8-feet long standing on end and two 10-foot 2X6's cradling the deep-V of the hull.
Seems like overkill for my 18-foot center console. The boat weighs about 1900 lbs fully loaded with a full tank of fuel.
The fellow at the boat shop told me the boards are spruce and will last forever, so I should just recarpet them eventually.
