I use Sunline FC Sniper and P-Line Halo fluorocarbon on my spinning setups and love both of these lines. I haven't had any issues with the knots and tangles. Be sure to spool the line on correctly and it'll these two will work just fine. I use 8lb by the way.

Can fish see the braid line or is this theory like fish can not see red line but can see red hooks.

I have recently switched to Segar and it takes some getting use to but I love it.

Couple things that help.
1.) Line Conditioner like KVD's or Real Magic help
2.) Tie the end of the line onto something that won't move like a boat cleat. Let about 30 yards out and pull real hard. This takes out the stretch and memory in the line and makes it much more managable for casting.

I like it better than braid because I can feel hits in wind when the line is bowed and as everyone knows it blows all the time here.

It may also be the way you are spooling the line on the reel. If you're not doing it right you will have kinks and other problems with the line on the reel itself.

Just use Seaguar invisx and you will have 0 problems

Tip..
Baitcasters spool to were it comes over the top of the spool
Spinning reels spooled counter clockwise while laid on a side

biged472, After hundreds of dollars on fluoro, I too had so many problems, I just went back to my old stand by Silver Thread AN40. Thinking I will never try that %$@& again.........well,
when Lake Fork Tackle came out with their version of Fluoro, I had to try it. I now use the FluoroHybird FH and also their Powersilk line, have had ZERO problems so far, try it you might like it

After reading this thread, Man I'm glad that I am not the only one that feels the same way. Does anyone have a little trouble tying on knots at times with Fluorocarbon. And does anyone else notice that after a few weeks having a newly spooled reel the Fluoro really curls up.

Fluro sinks faster, does not stretch as much and is more sensitive.

I use it now on everything but topwater. I am feeling things that I did not feel before. I have tried Vicious but do not like it as it frayed too quickly and did have memory. My favorite is Trilene which I use almost all of the time. I have also had ok results with P line Halo and BPS. In order to save money I spool my reels with 100 yards of mono and then 50 yards of fluro. I use Cajun red as the backing so it is real obvious when it is time to add more fluro. Yes it backlashes a little more and it does have memory but it catches more fish and in my mind is worth it.

The only thing I use flouro for is as leaders for braid in clear water. Too stiff and curly for me.

Yes it is. It burns when you tie knots. I used it for a year then threw it away and went back to mono leaders on my braid.
