No Pics, went out with Deckhand this a.m. for the maiden voyage- everything working great! marked fish on both graphs, and found a few deficiencies that I had corrected before taking the boat out this evening. Two trips today, but the p.m. trip was more productive fishwise hitting schooling/feeding whites until dark. Even caught a baby Hybrid. I ain't got time for pics- too busy trying to catch fish while boating. Thanks all for the support and see you out there sometime! Tomorrow a.m. is when I'll be out there again!

nice going, go fishing...
I'm going to need a reliable merc dealer soon..I need my annual tune up, impeller change etc...any suggestions? TB, I thought that Marine Sales place on 190 did Mercs. I know they don't do yammy but they will since they stole a Yammy mech from Temple. yea, they do, but being the kind of town it is, I need someone trustworthy. Took a small merrc there years ago and was not impressed with the way it ran after they worked on it. Imay take the drive to waco if I can't find anything closer But they are a tracker dealer now, so who knows...I'd just hate to have a brand new motor jacked up on its first service Do you have someone in Waco? You may want to talk with _Scooter_ about Travis marine. He felt they gave him a good deal on the boat he just got. They are right off of 183 and just in Austin. I know they deal with Merc as I stopped there to pick up a new prop. I bought my tracker in austin and I thought they were fair and did a good job taking my money. TB, I wouldn't take Johns boat to the one in Waco. They were jerks everytime I went in there and half the time, they're closed. I heard a retired warrant bought the one in killeen, I actually met him and he seemed to be a pretty good guy. He was going to price match some stuff for me If I was interested.

thanks FT, I bought my boat in waco, and never had an issue with those guys not being around when I had a question. I just need someone reliable to do a simple yearly service. The local one screwed up the status something fiarce, and my buddys toon..so I'm kinda skeered. Myabe I'll give em a try and see what happens....worse case I sell the sucker

Well I went out this morning and tried to see what I could do but didn't seem to have any luck! Couldn't find any shad so we trolled for a small while and caught 2 small whits and a small largemouth as well. I think I saw Jay on the water this morning too.

He had the triumph boat. Anyway, the new owner is a friend of his and I gave him a chance and he did me right without mentioning redwine's name. Glad to hear you had good service at waco since I quit going to them after two significant emotional events. The guy seems like a stand up guy. When you get back, go talk to him, and get the feel for yourself. He actually fishes also, but he's a green fish guy. LOL

shad are rough this time of year No live bait in this state. Went out today on the salt looking for chinook salmon since the run should be starting soon. After 6 hours, gave up, went and fished the slack tide and caught a few rock fish and lingcod. Bout all you feel on the rock fish is the hookset and the rest is just reeling on, no fight at all. Sucks. Did I mention it sucks! LOL

My heart just breaks for your "bad luck" while fishing the Great Northwest. Having to choose between Salt,Brackish, and Freshwater. Deciding on which of 20 different species to catch must really wear on a man. BTW Hi Larry always good when you pop in.
