In danger of catching a lot of fish this weekend! I have not been on the lake in two weeks. Got a full weekend of trips and wanted to get on the water late this afternoon to see where the fish were hiding. Well I can tell you they were easy to find. Brush anywhere from 12 to 18'. I was using the Pup Jig made by Jigum Jigs and the 7' Mr. Crappie rod. Did not catch many dinks. All fish were big and fat! Got a 2 pounder too. If the wind does not get too bad we should catch plenty of fish! I kept 25 nice ones for dinner and my dad!

Something else that I thought was interesting too . My rod started to vibrate and make noise. I was waiting for the lighting to strike me but it never did. I would point it to the water and it would stop but when I set the hook and pulled the rod tip up it would do it again. Hard to feel the bite with it vibrating! Did it for about an hour and a half.

Nice fish Jason!...It is crazy when the rods start to vibrate and make buzzing like noises, had that happen to me once on a overnight mako trip out of Ocean City ,Maryland when a storm was rolling in and i dont want to experience it again.

Nice catch, but you're crazy for continuing to fish with your rod conducting electricity. When the rod vibrates....it's time to get the h*** off the water flame

True but maybe that's why you were catching so many fish! A little vibration can never hurt breakdance

Yes, that has happened to me too. Even would shoot a blue spark if I put my hand close to the rod. Hair was standing up on my arms and my head felt tingly and my hair felt like it was standing up. Needless to say I got the heck out of dodge and headed for dry land fast. scared
