Went out today with Jeff(TFF member)and his father and had a pretty good day inspite of the big wind on LL! We managed to catch our limit of some pretty good sized sandies and then some. I think the wind keep most people off of the lake today because we only saw one other boat on the lake today fishing. The water temp is holding around 80 degrees and still in pretty good shape even after the recent weather we have had. We found our fish today on WINDY wind blown points in about 25 ft of water and stacked up pretty good! All of our fish were caught today by using LEAD BABIES SLABS and FLY-BY-NIGHT-FLIES.

What kind of slabs did you use?
And did you tie any flies above the slabs?

Looks like the cleaning station at Hidden Cove Park. We were out there also. What a beating, but ended the day well.

We caught several 14"-16" hybrids Firedude. Even if we would have found them, It would have been really hard to stay on'em very long at all with all that wind that was blowing! I think that it was forcast to be 10-20, while it was really 20-30! Thanks alot David Finfrock! hung

Not so good for us Friday. It was our first time fishing Lewisville & w/ some help from you guys on here had a few spots to try but never really found them stacked up anywhere. I wanted some Hybrids really bad but all we found were small sandbass & 1 decent largemouth bass. And yes, very windy. Not much of anywhere to hide on Lewisville w/ a south wind. Will have to try again.

Jeff here.....that's me and my Dad in the pic. First time on LL, David really did a good job of finding the fish and keeping us on them for about 2 hrs. He was fighting the wind pretty good. I want to say that my first time with a guide and David was better than I could imagine. I highly recommend using David as a guide he was more than happy to show us what we didn't know and was very informative.
THANKS DAVID!!!!! My Dad is still talking about that morning!
