well hello peoples. to anyone who chuckles at this post, i'm right there witcha. anyway, my cutie wants me to take her surf fishing this w/end and she wants to "somewhat" rough-it.(another words, must hav showers nearby). she's buyin, so i'm fishin. any ideas were to get hookd up into some smacks,trout, or occas. shark? could head to PINS, but coming from dallas seems a little far. hav all the right gear, but no 4wd. thanks for any help and prayers. i hav a feeling i'll need them.

Try Quintana Beach County Park.

You can fish the surf or the jetty. If the water's right, the fishin's good. If it's not, hang out on the beach and have a few cold ones.

I went there thrusday.. it was real windy.. the beach had alot of seaweed on it... it's a good place to surf fish.. caught a small bonnethead shark and a couple of black tip sharks... good luck this w/end
