Went over to Sandlin today to see what the fish are doing. A pretty good bite. About the the same bite as Cypress Springs. Just a little deeper.
Main lake points with brush and breaks with turns 17 to 27feet on jigs. Fished About 4 hours and kept 22 of the bigger ones to eat. Hope this helps if your headed there. If you need a guide give me a call. I've got an open spot this weekend.

I'll be over that way in early July for a little family reunion. I think we'll be staying at Deer Lake Cabins. I plan to bring my boat in hopes of putting my dad and grand dad on some fish, although I've never been on Sandlin or Cypress Springs. I've heard stories of all the catfish in Monticello. Anyway, I appreciate the reports, keep em coming.
