I'd say north of Beach Access 2 and south of BA 1. Don't set your tent seaward of the high tide line. You'd be amazed at how many people do this. It's funny to see tents swamped with water and dazed looking people sleeping on their car nearby.

thanks mike, been to the surf enough to know about tent placement. it sure is funny to see ppl that have to learn the hard way.lol.any accomodations in that area? re. showers?

I really wouldn't know. I go in my RV which of course has a shower. Two in fact, one outside and one inside.
