Is Secret 7 a punchbait (where you only need to use a treble hook), or it is better to use a bait holder? If the latter, what bait holders work well?

Secret 7 is not a punch bait. It's a dip bait and you'll need some form of bait holder. I like to use the dip tubes from Team Catfish. I usually cut the tubes in half. I will pair the piece of dip tube with a #6 treble hook fished on the bottom with a carolina rig. My customers and myself have put a lot of fish in the boat using this combination.

i ordered some on monday and it was at my door wednesday and i live in wisconsin. havent tried it yet and i will be pleased as punch if i catch a cat on it as i have never ever even had a catfish bite on a commercial catfish bait. so i am kind of anxious to give it a go. the only bait i have found that they really like are cutbait and minnows up here. so i am hoping i have an easier to transport bait if secret 7 works. carrying dead fish and live fish around for bait is a pain in the @ss. but i already put their sticker on my boat so it better damn work heh.
