Secret spot ain't so secret anymore due to some body posting pictures on here....you never see me posting pictures of my haul and I have had some nice ones....maybe because I am not smart enough to do so?? Anyways I want mention any names but he wears that same old hat all the time and it has got to smell pretty raunchy these days..LOL!

Went out for about a bit. As I was walking down the bank at 5pm, I saw 2 schools busting the surface so I ran down and starting casting. Unfortunately, I should have checked my spool tension knob which was really loose and I had to spend 5 min picking out a birds nest. Got that out and caught 2 small LMB from the schools. Then here comes a boat that stops right on top of one of the schools. The fish shut down. So he starts up his big motor and goes to the next school about 20-30 yards down the bank. He catches 1 fish and they shut down too. WHY DO YOU KEEP RUNNING YOUR BOAT INTO THE SCHOOLS! This was the same boat that kept tangling lines with my friend last week. Nothing for the next hour.

Then I get a static zap when I reel in my lure and grab it to pull out a weed. There are dark clouds on the horizon and lightning in the distance so I head for home around 6:30. I found out later there was a tornado on the North side of the lake around 6:50. Thank goodness for the static zap or I might have stayed 15-20 minutes too long!

My self, 1fisherJZ, and bassitup went out to the Vine yesterday afternoon. It was a pretty good day for me I caught 10, the biggest was a 2.14 all the rest were pretty small but it was fun. The real fun started when we were out there and that storm rolled in. We almost got stuck out there from trees falling on the ground right in front of us blocking the main roads out. It was nuts. That tornado was basicly right in front of us we were all watching it while still sitting on the boat ramp then saw the large wall of rain coming for us so we headed out. That is when it got real crazy with all the trees falling 80+mph winds etc.

The Vine's bank is going to be a mess for the next week with last nights storm.....

Roc, the same guy in the same boat? I think it is time I show you how to deal with this type of [censored]. Enough is enough! And to you ole buddies of the Vine....what the "F" are you guys thinking out there in that type of conditions? I bet I know who the culprit was?? It should be fun with all the new water for a couple of weeks if it is anything like last time the storms came thru.

We were thinking we were catching fish, Storms don't scare. Like Bassitup told me yesterday we are either hard core fisherman or just dumb. LOL

It was the most awesome thing watching that wall of rain and carnage coming at us. I would do it again right now if i didnt have to be at work.

Yup I'll do it again but this time lets leave before the tree blocks us in. lol

JZ, I am sure he was trying to smoke a "Red" in the rain? Why was 03 catching all the fish?

That torcs me!! I was fishing some rocks at the vine the other day, caught a couple small onew. then some dude walks up and starts about 3 ft. from me, fishing the exact area I have been throwing my lure. Maybe I am anti-social, but I like a little space when I fish. I definitely wouldn't stand almost next to some one already fishing. some people need to go good manners school!! I am not above throwing a nice heavy sinker across thebow of some boat being stupid.

LOL YUP he was. hahahaha I guess they were liking the way I was jigging the worm better. I don't know. If the fish are there and biting I'll catch'em.

Thats just downright disrespectful. A couple side arm casts over his way should work.

There is no way I would get close to a stranger fishing and fish right were he is. I think I would have to tell the mofo the move on some where else.

First of all I want to give 1FisherJZ an..."APPRECIATE IT" on the hook up of the TFF sticker that matches my truck perfect! Yesterday at the Vine was one of those days that just don't happen all the time and I had the pleasure of having my son with me for some of the best bank action I have ever experienced in a 2 hr time frame. We caught Whites, Spots and LMB and if I posted how many you would think I was full of it..Great day at the Vine and man I hated having to leave!
