Yes The Four Horsemen is the host motel. They have very low prices, clean and wel kept. Ask for the discount for members fishing the tourney.

Ray Roberts Tournament Breakfast Availability

I met Lynn Maher a couple of weeks ago fishing Ray Roberts when stopping by Ken�s Buck Creek Store. I spoke to her about our club and she has offered the menu below.

Her restaurant is reserved for private parties and is not public at this time. She is opening her restaurant for us. After turning into the road leading to Ken�s, immediately to your right will be the Grub for Cowboys restaurant. I didn�t have time to stop and see the inside of the restaurant but I hear it is quite nicely decorated. There are actually two restaurants. As you look at the building, �Cowboys� is on the left side. Lynn tells me just smell the coffee and you will find it.

Everything will be ready to be served when you arrived. You may serve yourself, which is all you want � the best deal. Or you can call her to make specific arrangements for �to go� packages or for special orders. She prefers you contact her by telephone (see below) because the Internet is a drag out there and sometimes undependable.

She is willing to open earlier if you like. I told her I didn�t think 4:30am was necessary but if you need an earlier time, call her. I�m sure she will accommodate you.

I did purchase a sandwich at the drive-by stand the day I met her. It was delicious.

We are going to pre-fish Sunday and Friday. Should be a great tournament. If your not signed up you can do it ay Finney-Tribe.

The only singing I'll be doing is singing the blues after I can't catch any fish during the tournament

I hope I can find some fish between now and then. I'm confident I can get 5#'s but that's not gonna come close.

we fished Friday after the tordnados wind was howling had to fish a ramp in a cove I have only launched at 2-3 timesbut never fished and our best seven was 6.5 had about 3- skinny 10.5s in the group. all caught out of timber on jigs in 3 hours from 11-1 oclock. wind would not allow any lake travel. timber in 15ft about 13ft down. Buddy was fishing with minnows and did probaly catch more fish but none keepers. Sure hope we get some kind of a break on this wind on the 20th. If we do we should have some nice weight ins

My BAD this was Thursday not friday

Me and Texas Sage (Andy) did some pre-non-catching today all over Buck Creek.

He managed one itty-bitty and I skunked the boat up.
Daylight was beautiful then the wind came-AGAIN
We left at 13:00 and My partner, Mike took second shift and did better.
This lake is P***ing me off!
If I can whoop DeVine and LL, I can Whoop this thang.

One of Garys school techers friends friend came over and we BS for a bit Man thays techers can fish hed cought 30 with 18 keepers.I seen him catch 7 . I had 8 total with only 2 keepers.He saids the bite was off. I dont thank he gits on here but he sure helped my timber fishing.Thanks
