Would highly recommend elm creek.

You can also stay in ballinger. A couple motels to chose from but its about 15 minutes from the lake. One of the above would be prefered if they aren't booked.

Elm creek is by far the best place to stay and eat! Sportsmans is pretty nice and has good food too. Same with concho. But Jerry at Elm Creek is the nicest guy around the lake.
