yes as stated above.
one thing to know about sand trout is they dont freeze well.
they get real mushy after freezing.
so there is no reason to keep them unless you are going to eat them within the next 2 days.

Like said above, Great to eat Soon after the catch. To me unless thier 10" not worth the trouble. When you find a school of them you can tach a ton of them. One day when nothing else was biting a buddy and me caught over 300+ of them in a couple of hours in one school! We only kept 75 as our 48qt ichest was full!

thinks alot guys!!!!! thats good to know.... i when fishing this sat. and caught about 13. but threw them back.. can't wait until i hit other school of them!!!!! saltdawg sound like u had a good fish fry the next day!!!!!
