I have not heard of any success stories on epoxy or gluing these transducers back together. Mine is a clean break at the bracket and is a Lowrance transducer transom mounted. Has anyone found anything that will glue this back together or is it off to BPS for a new one?

Hey Blake, I have not found a glue that will work, (tried epoxy and gorilla, neither held) but JB Weld makes a waterproof putty called I believe WETWELD. Place some between the two pieces of the transducer and then form a collar around the seam going as far up the mount piece as possible and down a bit on the transducer itself. This was successful for me.
Probably the saddest thing you will ever see is a mosquito sucking on a mummy, Forget it little friend!! :-(

I broke the bracket on my TM mounted transducer and used JB weld to attach it directly to the bottom of the TM. I did that 3 years ago and have seriously abused that transducer on stumps and rocks and it is still attached. In fact, I hope I never have to replace it as it's gonna be a bear getting it off the TM

I cleaned it really good and used some super glue. I held pressure on it for 2 minutes. I gave it a test run for about an hour yesterday afternoon and so far its still holding together. If it breaks again I am going to trade ducers between my trolling motor and transom as they are both the same and I will J B Weld the broken one onto my trolling motor like you said Blu-Ranger.

If you have a fiberglass boat, just glue it down inside the hull. I got tired of having the problem you described and finally used JB weld to put the broken transducer inside the hull. I have a 21' Baystealth and have never had a better picture on my graph.

I saw someone else did this on here and wish my boat was at home so I could just take a picture and show you, but I put a hose clamp around the transducer head and another hose clamp through the first clamp and through the bolt on the transom bracket. Tighten both clamps and you have a transducer that wont move.
Sorry, I know this sounds kind of confusing and you can probably find the original post someone posted on this with pictures. If not and your interested, let me know and I'll try to run by the storage and get a picture.

For TM mounted transducers I have one of these and they are great. http://transducershieldandsaver.com/home/They are working on one for transom mounts as well.
