I just bought a bag of 3 inch smelt minnows and am just wondering if i got gypped or if they are any decent?

they look good, but if i remember their expensive.

I like the ones that come in the bucket. They are awesome on a drop shot.

i have never even used them so im thinking trying them Texas rigged seeing as i cant work drop shots that well.

I have never tried to texas rig them, I think it may take some of the action out of them. You can work the drop shot the same way you do your t rig and still catch a bunch of fish

Gulp minnows are like crack for smallies in NY! I have a few bags left that I haven't even opened since moving down here...

okay
just rigged my first drop shot (im still new okay?) and have everything set but since i had my rush today (a series of 8 allergy shots) i can not test it till Wednesday to accommodate for the shallow water (2-5 feet) i made the leader 4 inches.
