Anybody do any good at the Vine over the weekend?
We went out saturday morning but the Rock-Stick Adventure competition was going full swing at Murrell/Twin Coves. If you weren't casting into somebodies kayak you were getting ran over by a mountain bike.
I did notice that they finally moved the barracades in Murrell just past the entry shack off to the left just before the boat ramp. You can now drive back to fishing trail #3 plus a little further back. Now if they would just open up the rest of Murrell.

Went Saturday in a boat, caught four, largest 3.5. Honestly, had pic taken but father in law not too keen on cell phone camera so no save. had a good time though. Those buzzbaits are awesome.

That's a good start! They need to open up "The Point" area again hehe.

That's a good start! They need to open up "The Point" area again hehe. Actually I hope not! The park is already crawling with people who just trash the banks. I don't mind a bit of a walk to the point if it means it stays clean and I can have it to myself. But recently, since the point is flooded over a bit, the boats have been moving in a bit too close to me, tangling lines with my friends, stopping and parking right on top of us when we catch fish... Having a 1/2oz clacking buzzbait land 10 feet from you is a bit startling too.

1fisherJZ, if you guys go to the sekret spot again like we did last year, i wanna go! i'm hoping to be on the vine sat morning. somewhere between the boat houses and the gaylord on the south shore. if you see a white dodge with a TFF sticker, stop and say hello.
