Are they really worth the money? Im about to get a REALLY good bonus and have some money to play around with, including upgrading my tackle bag to the falcon bag and falcon boxes. Im just not sure whether to get a few of the cranks and topwaters! I'm pretty sure I'll get the topwaters as I know I wont lose them as easily as the cranks. Just wonderin if the price is justifiable(sp). I dont know what makes them cost so much when they "look" like so many other cranks! Thanks for the feedback.

I like the H20 brand cranks as they have an awesome color selection, but was just wonderin on the LC's. Im gonna buy a few of the H20's as well, just tryin to talk myself into buyin a few of the LC's. I like their sammys for the topwater bite, but I dont know what makes their cranks different from others. Anyone have any ideas what makes them different, other than the name and price?

I'm not sure, but they catch fish. And H2O has some but not all of the colors. I like the H2O baits a lot and they are a great buy, but the LC baits are awesome. It hurts to buy them because I fish on a limited budget, but I wait for the sale at BPS and get a few. The RC 1.5 rattling baits are my favorite.

I dont know if this is true or not but Marty Stone told me that 17 pairs of hands touch each bait when they are made at the Japan factory. They also use good components including the bill. If anyone on here makes their own cranks, they could tell you better than I can about types of materials. I still think that they are over priced. Awesome baits though. Get the gunfish its like a sammy + a spitting bait all in one

Dave, I fish a lot of DD crankbaits this time of year. The LC D20 as opposed to the Norman DD-22. LC D20 dives deeper, has a tighter wobble, better hooks and better line tie. Somtimes, I do better on the DD22 and sometimes the D20. When the bite is tougher, the D20 hands down. When they're on, it doesn't really matter.

I can buy two or three St Croix rods for the price of one Dobyns... grin bolt

I use Lucky Craft crankbaits. Same thing as the rod comparison. They are a better bait than most. If you but your bait on looks the Lucky Craft and H2O are the same. If you buy your rods by looks a $60 rod is as good as a $300 rod.

I love the H20 Rc type cranks as I caught my personal best on one and quite a few other big fish on them. About the only ones I have been less than impressed with are the pop-r type chugger, the wakebait, and the Sammy knockoff. None have performed well for me but its entirely possible its an user issue.

I think the LC topwater and the LC shallow cranks are worth it..you would have to ask someone else about the deep cranks,I use SK cranks for deep crankin.
