I am guessing that if someone is going to eat a fish and they have no idea what it is, then "nasty" ain't much of a problem for them.

That fish is 100% oscar. I have raised many of those and when they get to big I always traded them in at speciatly pet shops for smaller one's. They are goldfish eating machines but they will eat anything they can get their mouth around, very similar to a bass. They are a very hardy fish but I wouldn't worry to much about them taking over. They max out at about 6 lbs.

yeah i talked to parks and wildlife and they wanted the pictures and location.so i gave them the info and they said if i weighed it on a certified scale that it would have been a lake record.

It was in that fish tank thay used to have in there I caught this with all those carp to. The game warden said to get rid of it so we ate it.
