Cuss it if you dont have an Iphone but I have spent over $300 on Navionics chips in the last 3 years and I got it all for $4.99 today. Thanks Navionics.

Just downloaded it and it's awesome. Man am I glad I didn't buy it when it was $60.

Thanks for the heads up! Is that 4.99 a month or a 1 time fee? I just got my iPhone recently and haven't paid for an app yet.

Also downloaded and looks like a one time fee 4.99. I do not think the iphone app are on a per month fee like Palm.

yup! i picked this up last week for my Iphone! Its a REAL nice product! Lakes from all over the US.. you can get different regions for $4.99. Its a one time fee
Just search for Navionics, you should find it in the App Store.

It is Navionics Hotmaps South.
You cannot download it directly from your iPhone. The file is about 500Mb and they don't want you doing that over the 3G network.
You need to either have your phone connected to a wireless router or go through iTunes to download it. Be prepared to wait a while. I have downloaded it and I am currently syncing it to my phone. The entire process will have taken at least 30 minutes.

I would recommend wired only, it took about 3 tries on my wireless router, but when i connected it, worked like a charm. Great app

I have it installed and I have been playing with it. It's a good app except it closes on me for no reason at random times. It's done it 3 or 4 times now.. Anyone else have this experience?

Don and I fished Hubbard yesterday and both had it downloaded on our phones. It is virtually the same exact set of maps I paid over $100 for with my Navionics card. I would suggest downloading through iTunes and then syncing, or it could take forever to get.
