Ask the sales person like i did.
The bad thing about a hds-5 is a 480 x 480 compaired to this year is bird 640 x 640 pixel .
I think when you shop compair the specs on electronics.
That why I want to see the both side by side.
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

you are wrong on that there criley, lowrance had graph in early 90's did this, but as much detail there is today.

I reiterate. Very slow getting to this technology. They let HB gain a big amount of market share and Angler respect for their products.
