I come real close to going out this morning before church, fishing from daylight till about 8:00 and then coming home. It was just too windy and Iam sick and tired of fighting the wind. Do the weather Gods not know it is summertime when there is suppose to be no wind, 110 degree temperature, and the lake is like glass. Oh well next Saturday is already looking promising.

Willy, if you want to fish the west side then you have a couple of free lauch points to choose from. I am bad with street names but I can get you there....From 30 pass the Bass Pro exit and go across the first Hubbard bridge. First exit I believe is Dalrock...there will be two ramps there for you to choose from. The first will be on your right when you exit and the other will be just off the service road on the left side of the highway

we were out for most of the day and only landed some dinks. We were enjoying the first day on the lake this year, the wife enjoyed the sun on the deck on the back of the pontoon boat no matter what the fishing was like for me grin. Been working on the race car instead. Wind was FIERCE, and there was not too many places to get to "small" white caps. The coves were even windy. We did enjoy the day never-the-less. Fish were not in the spots that I had success last year. Hope they will come around soon.
