Go to the TPWD website, download the form and get her a First Fish certificate. Then you can frame it with the pictures, it'll make a nice memory to hang on the wall.

Awesome rod combo. My 4yr old daughter has the exact same pole and caught her first fish on it this past Sunday. She was dead set on holding it and putting it back in the water. These are the fun times...then they grow up!

We then walk over to the bait cooler...NO WORMS!!! 
Not good. I look for alternatives in the bait/lure section to no avail so I head to the meat section for the next best thing...hot dogs. Hot dogs and Barbie pole in hand we head out. We get to the pond, get rigged up, and make out first cast. She is so excited but not nearly as excited as I am. I can't wait to see her catch her first fish. Well it didn't take long. About 3 seconds after her bobber made splashdown it took off into the depths. Her mouth dropped wide open and she started to reel. I had to hold the rod for her as she reeled. All the while she's screaming "Daddy I catch fish!!!" Her excitement quickly turned to fright as the fish came out of the water. She wanted nothing to do with it at all!!! 
She hasn't quite decided if she's a tomboy or a princess. All indications point to her being a little bit of both!!! Notice the outfit she picked out!!! We went on to catch several nice sized Green Perch and Bluegill. It was such a memorable evening. My wife and I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Hopefully she'll learn to love fishing as much as I do. Then I will get to do my favorite thing with my favorite girl. What's better than that!?
