Don't worry, we were safe... they usually wear them all the time, but I let them take them off this one time, sence we were both in the boat, no wind, and in 2 ft of water. The one boy swims better than he walks anyways... thumb But I hear ya.. Thanks

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Nice pics. Not to be a broken record but there is no "one time" this should be allowed. The "one time" you let you guard down, disaster strikes. I seem to recall it struck 4-5 times in a single week earlier this spring. Dont think the game warden would see it your way either.

DUDE OKAY I GET IT!!!!!!!! You guys are something else and more than likely the reason people stop posting things on here.... So I bent the rules once!! WHOOP DEE F-in DOOO!! Their life vests were wet from the storm from the night before, They didn't want to wear wet life vest on a cool morning!! And I wasn't about to take them back up to the house. Tell a 5 and 7 y.o. "sorry we can't go fishing, your vests are wet" Charge me with child endangerment, report me to CPS, call the Game Wardens... I know what is safe and what isn't. I wasn't hauling a$$ across the lake acting like a fool, the wind wasn't 50mph (like in the early spring) and You weren't there so lay off. If the G-dubs had showed up and given me a ticket then so be it. I got the point from the first criticizing post, no need for a third, fourth, or fifth.... THANKS

Amen.

And if for some reason you want more go over to the catfishing forum and post something about bow fishing.

:-)

I don't blame him. It gets old hearing the same old whining about stupid stuff. There is not one thing you can post on any forum that someone won't have a problem with. It's a wonder people ever survived before we had the internet around to receive criticism over every little thing.

I'm glad you said something, I get real tired of hearing people bash on others on the site. On almost every post somebody has something negative to say. People need to just shut their mouth and worry about their own $#!t.
