And knocked them dead I caught my smallest on a shad color soft swimbait bout 2lbs and the biggest off of a shad h2o lipless crankbait. Caught a couple more about 3 to 4lbs on watermelon jigs and shakey head had a really good day. Water is still pretty low out there and not to much in the water to throw at.

Nice fish. Looks like it would run around 7-8ish lbs easy.

6-7Lbs Lots that size being caught out of there. Went out there this last friday caught 2 hybrids (11 & 9#'s) only after we ran out of 3 dozen minnow catching crappie.

Very nice fish. Them bass on that lake weigh more than they look. So I going to say atleast 7 1/2.

I would say that fish is easily in the 9lb range just going by the proportions of this fish to your body. In any case.... IT'S HUGE!!

I recently caught one a little over 7 and i would say mine was a couple pounds smaller than that. Comparing that fish to your body and the size you are there is no way that fish isn't 9 lbs! Nice catch. Did you land it by yourself or did you get help with an awesome net job?

Surely you didn't cuss and yell at the guy that was trying to help you land that hawg! If someone ever yells and cusses me (again) while I'm netting there fish, I will slap the fish with the next and try to knock it off. Just kidding, I wouldn't do that.......or would I?

Don't feel to bad.. I too was verbally abused while trying to assist this person with a net job. And on the very same lake no less.

To add insult to injury, this guy even made me change his tire that blew out on the way back home!
