What size hooks and weight do you use on 10-12" worms in 30-40ft of water

Same as regular. 5/0 widegap Daiichi and "maybe" 3/8 or 1/2 oz tungsten.

I use nothing but 5/0 Gamagaksu hooks. Seem to work great on 10" worms.

Depending on the thickness of the worm 4/0, 5/0 or 6/0 and 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2 oz weight depending on what fall rate you are looking for.

5/0 EWG with 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 is what is use. I did not have any problems hooking up with fish in 25-40 foot at Falcon or Amistad with the 5/0. I did use braid with a florocarbon leader, that seemed to work better than just straight mono.
