I would not recommend that other wise this whole post will just get deleted by the moderators.

Why not? Especially if there was another guide as a witness. People should be warned.

Ryno I agree with you. I would love to know the name of this Guide as well so other TFF'ers don't get burned, but Mark is right the Mod's will delete this post in a heart beat. The 1st Guide will get what's coming to him. Great job Kerry that was a big thing to do. My hat goes off to you for that. Somebody needs to post Kerry's website so we can back him and send him some business.

Both of you make valid points but I agree with Mark on this one.

Bashing the not-so professional guide isn't going to do much good. Here.

If DisabledVet wants to make a new post about the guy he used then so be it. But this thread is a positive one. Let's keep it that way.

Let's also not let this shaddow the good deed that Kerry did and continue to thank those who have represented this fishing community in a positive mannor.

The only two guides I know on Benbrook are Kerry (Benbrook Guide) and Michael Acosta. They are both stand up guys and I would hire either one any time. Once again, good going, Kerry.
I too would be interested in knowing who the other person (guide??)is. But agree that this is not the place to name him.

Bob
I appreciate the TFF.

Hey this is sandjohnny my real name is Johnny Stevens and I have had a couple of people call and ask if that was me. I am not a guide and I assure everyone it was not me.
I was off buying a new boat today .

I agree. If you don't treat your customers right, they will find someone that will.

WOW laugh Wasnt expecting this at all. Thanks for all the compliments guys. ( all of you). I guess i was just in the right place at the right time. I never use mustang ramp unless the water is to low for the marina. Dont know why i was there today. Guess the higher up knew he could use me somewhere.

Steve(DisabledVet) it was a pleasure to fish you and the family, im sorry again for the problems you had before hand.

I said a few choice word to the "guide" in front of your family, im sorry they just slipped out. Didnt mean to get involved in your business at all. I apologize for that also.

I realy enjoyed fishing you and the family. Thanks for the good words.

No the "guide" was not sandjohnny, he is a friend of mine. Although his presence was with us today. Ole ugly slab produced quite well today.

Mr. DisabledVet, i took my daughter (6yrs. old) on a trip with Kerry on Valentines Day this year. The temp was 30 degrees when he went out and tried to catch bait fish. At 9:ooam we went fishing and for the next 5hrs we caught nothing. It was 80 degrees Friday before. He made my daughter actually enjoy being frozen. She got to steer the boat and catch one sandy.
He is a better man than a great guide.

That's was very cool of you Kerry!

I have never even met Kerry, but have talked to him several times on this site and on the phone - he has been very generous and helpful to me trying to learn Benbrook!

Way to turn a bad situation into a positive memory for that family!
