Was wondering how the fishing is at Proctor. Will be headed up there for 3 days. Should get there on the 5th. Where the best spots to fish.

on and off somedays great somedays only a few (all channels)but have not had any actual bad days

have also caught a lot of drum to build my cut bait reserve

liver and worms seem to be working best right now in the 3-7 ft range throughout the day (worms shallower livers in the 5-7.
extra hint: they are not hitting solid so timing on hook set has been important i've started using bass hooks (instead of circle) recently.

I was out last friday night. Caught six keepers on fresh cut shad. Used some DK also and had some luck, I think the buffalos are more interested in the DK than the catfish. I was catchin them from 1-6 feet of water. If you have a boat may try onion valley. Some people have had some success with shrimp by the dam.

Onion valley, is it at the south end past the dam, or at north end? i think its south with all the stickups
