She was a beauty. She was 7 feet tall (Cabelas) with a silver Shimano Coriolis reel. We fished many days together on many lakes. She was given to me a few years ago from someone really special and she meant a lot. She went overboard yesterday doing what she loved. She was taken overboard with a bass on the end. First time in my 34 years that I have had one go overboard. The search lasted for 2.5 hours but I couldnt recover her. She could be in anywhere from 11-25 feet of water over by the rocky dam on EM across from Harbor One Marina. She was lost 3/4 of the way down along the dam (roughly 20 feet out)toward the lake patrol boat house. If by some small chance you should come across her on the rocky shoreline I would really appreciate it if you could pick her up and PM me when you have a chance. The depth finder said I was in 11 feet when she went overboard but the depth quickly drops. Anyway, if someone does see her, I would appreciate getting her back. Thanks.

Hate it for you. I was borrowing a buddy's Cabelas setup one day and had one of my spinning reels out in the water. I heard a thump, turned around and my spinning reel was hanging onto to the lip of the boat by the bell. I sat down my buddy's rig to grab mine with a rattle trap still in the water. When I reeled up the other fish and threw him back I turned around and there was no Cabelas rig. We were in 50' of water so I'm pretty sure a white snagged it and pulled it over.
I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.
