I haven't been fishing in years. I mean years. I havent been since i went with my parents. I want to go. So i need alittle bit of help. I think we use to go to Kemah. Is there any good spots there. Oh i live in Houston. So I dont want to go to far. I want to know what other places and piers there are. Also I need to know what to use. We use to just fish off piers with sinkers. I want to know what other ways should i fish. ALso what are jetties or rocks or something like that. Help me out please.

IF you have the money you may want to hire a local guide, wether a boat or kayak trip. They can and are a wealth of information and you will have hours to ask some questions. If this isnt a possibility, look up any piers in your 'drive area' and just go...ask questions to anyone that will talk about it. Im not from there or I'd point out 'places' - Im just trying to give you ideas... Go to some local fly fishing shops, bait and tackle stores, and ask the people that work there...if they point to the fish, you will buy bait and tackle...
There are lots of ways to get info... just have to research a little.
