OFFICIAL NOTICE OF CHANGE OF FISHERY AT LITTLE ROCK, AR - It is official!!!! We will be using Lake Maumelle for the upcoming tournament. After gathering information from our official sources, it has been determined that the conditions on the Arkansas River are unsafe. The weather forecast is calling for more rain in the area and the local authorities have stated that the waters will not recede to anywhere near a safe level for tournament competition.

We will be using the ramps at:

Welcome to Arkansas ladies.Lake Maumelle is a beautiful body of water and the central Arkansas water supply.
Look forward to lots of small kentucky bass and the occasional largemouth.The lake is a bit high and murky at this time.After the early top water bite,the fish are moving int 15-20 feet of water on structure.(missing bridges on old road beds,brush piles,rock piles,steep drop offs etc)This is a good crank bait lake for the run and gunners,soft plastics like the baby brush hog,trick worms,shake heads and jigs work well on the deeper fish. In the am ,the bite is poppers,1/8 oz buzzbaits,small spinnerbaits,jerk baits around shallow weedy areas near deeper water. Good luck to all.
