Spent Tuesday and Friday on Lewisville our first time there ever and my son caught exactly one keeper for 4 pounds while I blanked. The college guys we talked to on Friday all struggled. Now that the College Tourney and Bass Champs is over would somebody mind shooting me a pm and help me get started learning this lake. Got a club tourney there on June 20 and at this stage I don�t have a clue.

Sit on the rockpile off the island all day and you will catch a good limit. They weren't on it yet but they will be in a few weeks.

LOL. I only saw 2 islands but i didnt go up north. I dont know the lake very well. I have only fished it 4 times

Hey Brandon, do you know if the UNT Dallas campus has a team? My son is finishing at Eastfield and will be going there in the fall.

I don't believe they do, however I wouldn't see any reason that he wouldn't be able to fish with us..Over at the denton campus

Yes he should, however he is number 5 of my 10 kids so each of them get 2 years of junior college and 2 years to a school they can commute to as that's all the budget allows. UNT Dallas is only 20 minutes from home.

Fish the secondary points on the 121 side with a spinnerbait early or a chadder bait. Then throw a c-rig with a chart pepper fry after that in the same area. The bite tends to slow around 10am so get there early. This has produced some real good fish the last 2 weeks.

Flex I know the best place to find 5 is always in your livewell but you will be on Lavon that day.

Only been on Lewisville twice as stated above and just trying to get started.

The best I can truly tell you is TOW (time on water)...I am not a pro, and not awesome on Lewisville...but I do my homework to catch what I do..I just have tons of confidence in nearly every area I fish and certain baits and colors...good luck out there, and Lew can be a good lake

Ive fished Lewisville for over 30 years but i normally opt out of tournament fishing there just because its so close to the house it allows me time to be stress free on the lake..I dont mind sharing
