Nice One!!! I'd guess close to 8, But, You just gotta' invest in a scale.

LlindeX Man, close to 8# I wish. Any other lake maybe, but not on canyon. The bass here are like river bass, long and skinny. Plus this fish had spawned out already. Gary's digital scale read 5.2 which is still my personal best on Canyon lake, "Home of the 13" bass". The fish was 24" long. Thanks for the kind guesses. bump for page 2...it weighed 5.2 on a digital scale. can you believe a 24" LMB weighing barely over 5#? That's Canyon Lake for you.
