For our first time ever my wife and I combined for a limit on keeper hybrids. All on TNT 180's, West side hump, mid lake, from 15' to 30'. From about 5 to 7:30 p.m.
I've got a bruise on my stomach from my rod! What an experience!

I had my dad and my stepdad in the boat yesterday and we had a successful trip as well. We ended up with 150-180 fish by the end of the day. We threw them all back because Varner wasn't there to clean them for us but each of us would have caught our limit on sandies if we would have kept them. My stepdad, the Zebco 33 King as Varner likes to call him , had two nice keeper hyprids up to the boat and lost both of them.

But it was really cool having both of my dad's in the boat yesterday. Not too many people can say that.

All the fish we caught exactly where Nitro said!

Hybrids.... it does not get any better than that on Ray Hubbard.

hybrids should be better out there in a few years, we only tend to limit out there when we have some big shad left over that we caught at tawokoni and dont want to make the drive back out there to tawakoni in the afternoon.

what were you using the purple buzzbait?

i went up there to bass pro to buy a purple buzz bait and they guy told me that some guy named john buys them all.
