I've been using various tackle from Team Catfish for a bit now, and I have to say, it's all been excellent.
The sinker stops work much better for me than the old beads I was using.
The double action hooks are fantastic! I've used them like circle hooks and I have set the hook myself, and they work as advertised either way.
The sinker slides, I love those. Get done fishing, and I just take the sinker off, so my line does not end up all wrapped around and tangled up due to the sinker flopping around. Major improvement over the egg sinkers I have used forever.
Secret 7, it just plain works. I had it out today, and it outfished my old punch bait by about 5-1. Not to mention it is much easier and quicker to load the bait copmared to my old punch bait. Messing around trying to load my treble with punch bait took quite a bit of time sometimes, which was truly aggravating.
I'm mainly a bank fisherman, but yesterday I had my first experience catfishing from a boat, and I dropped a couple of catfish, holding them with my hands. Luckily, they did drop inside the boat, but even on the bank I've dropped a few, and never mind the large Carp that infest lake Georgetown.
I finally decided I really did have a need for a pair of fish grips, so I placed an order for a pair of those today.
Like I said, Team Catfish really is putting out tackle that just works, and it truly impressive.

I've been getting alot of positive feedback from my customers as well. Quality gear. Folks have been extremely impressed with the double action hooks. Some have said they will never use another type of hook again. Good times

So are you a regular lake georgetown fisherman? I've fished that lake some many times without any luck except the monster carp. If you dont mind sharing, where do you usually fish for cats at?

I have the grips, and they are awesome! Makes weighing fish a breeze. Would freaking die if I lost them!

Just got my first order from them today! Have not had a chance to try any of the stuff out....hurt my damn fishing arm!
I got the bumpers and the weight slides along with two tubs of secret 7 and the fuzzy thing...oh ya and the yellow grips.
I have yet to catch a fish on bait like this and have tried a couple others here lately so I hope this stuff works?
Do you just place the fuzzy thing on the hook? You dont actualy hook it right just slide it over te hook?
Been bay fishing my whole life and lovin every minute of it! 2008 Kenner 2103 Vision

Yeah, there are a lot of Carp in there for sure. I have had the best luck at Overlook during the day, and Jim Hogg at night

about every client I've had out since I got the team catfish gear has said they're going to call and order some stuff ... when ya miss maybe just one hit all day out of 30 or so bites and see how easy it is to handle all those fish with the grips it just sells itself. don't know how many of my clients actually did call but about every one of them said they wanted the fish grips ... I've been havin to keep a close eye on mine cause they been sayin stuff about swiping them ... I teathered two pair to my boat so my clients can have use of a pair while out there and I keep a pair in my utility pocket on my britches leg. all the gear I've used has been a dramatic improvement over anything I've used in all my years of fishin. I've even experimented a little with the sinker slide attaching a hook leader to it and a float underneath the slide so that the float will send the sinker slide up to the swivel and then slide back down to the sinker when I get a fish on ... I thought it'd break doin that but it hasn't yet. caught several fish on it too.

My fish grips are my most valuable asset in my boat. I'm a part time saltwater fisherman and they are #1 on my list of stuff to pack.
