LOL. Not often we get such an expert on what is "stupid" and what isn't.

Joe, if your fuel line is holding pressure and you got good spark on all cylinders, it's about a 97% probability that a carb rebuild will fix you up good as new. Install new kits including the float valve needles and seats.

If it has carbs, rebuild them, because the build up from it sitting probably broke loose and glogged after a few minutes of running. If it doesn't have carbs, you may have water in the fuel. The engine will run, but it will run very rough. Try using a new can of fuel.

Thanks for all the help guys. I cleaned the fuel, ran some new gas with Sta-bil in there and its running like a champ now. I really appreciate all the help

my input is clogged carbs!! i had all the same issues until i asked for help here...First order of bussiness for me was to get a BRAND new fuel tank, and I filled with brand new gas. Second I removed my carb and soaked it in Berrymans Carb Cleaner for some hours. Once i put it back on, it ran like a champ. Never again any problems. My 2cents
