Two years ago I was on Lake Neely Henry in Alabama. It was just about sunset and I was on plane when I nailed a sandbar in 12" of water. It took over three hours by myself to get pushed off and had to jump out of the boat to push about one-foot at a time to get free. I couldn't power off at all.

last year i was fishing greenbelt around the island and a jet ski flew by me and then took a turn and tried to go across the island, though it only was about 3" deep. man those girls flew like 15' and the jet ski got stuck on the island. they were lucky and made it without a scratch. it was hard for me, to go help a jetski get unstuck, but i did. i think all jetskis are better stuck on a sandbar.

My boater put us on a sand bar at the Colorado river one day, and this is after I warned him three times as he was approaching it to watch out for that exact same sand bar.
So when he insisted in digging us out without help I gladly sat in the boat while he got out and dug us out.
Another time at the same river a boater asked us about a sand bar right outside of the marina and after we told him how to avoid it he pulled out this attitude and just started arguing like crazy with us about how we must be mistaken...the water looks deeper than that...we must not know what we are doing...we are just too chicken...etc, etc.
So the boater then proceeds to prove us right and puts his boat right up on that sandbar just a pretty as you please.
After watching him dig it out for 45 minutes while we fish (he refused to even look our way when we yelled to him and asked if he needed a hand) he finally got it loose, only to misjudge where the sandbar actually ended and in his anger he romped on the throttle and put his boat right back on the same sandbar he just spent 45 minutes digging himself off of.
It was just classic and this time we did not even try to hold back the roars of laughter coming from our boat.

Yep, in the Mobile Delta about 100 yards from Where IH 10 crossed it. Had 18 wheelers and cars honking at me as i stripped down to my Haynes and jumped in. Never forget, i was about 20 feet from a sign in the water that said CAUTION, DEEP WATER, yeah, right!!!!!
