Spending Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Fork when the fishies is bitin'!!!

I got a rare chance to fish 4 days in a row and caught fish all 4 days - shallow, early and late, and deep all day long! Didn't catch any giants, but did manage alot of nice slots.

Just a really relaxing weekend - I really needed it. Here are a couple of pics -

I did catch a giant 12" bluegill on a Mann's 20+ Crankbait - the pic is on my phone and can't get it on the computer yet! That was my most exciting fish if the weekend.

Sounds like a great time. I fully expected to be there all weekend myself but after the boat started acting up Friday at Lewisville we ended up not going. My wife seemed to think I would be a grouch being at Fork all weekend and boatless...LOL...guess she's learned a lot about me the last 18 years.

Mark, sorry to hear about the boat problems.

Dax, sorry to hear about the idiot problems.

There were some idiots tubing on the main lake right in front of Wolf Creek. I pulled up to them and told them that there were trees standing in 45' of water, that two grown men couldn't begin to bear-hug the tops if they tried, but they were having none of it!

I truly think that the TPWD or COE should really step in and govern this situation before someone gets hurt. I'm not a fan of governemnt over-governing, but we all kow what lies 8"-10" right below the surface at Fork.

Fishing was awesome!
