Don't get many, except in a can, around here. I did quite a lot of salmon fishing while stationed around the Puget Sound area in Washington State.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

I really like to fish for them, but a good day weather day for salmon or steelhead is a deep freeze down this way. I do miss whidbey island and the fishin though.
 Boatless for minute

According to Alaska Fish and Game they are more King Salmon retained in Sitka, Alaska waters then any and all other Alaska ports combined. Every fish From Northern California to Western Alaska has to go by our Island to order to continue on. They usually don't just say hi, but they stay around a few days and eat our substantial bait fish populations, and like to bite our hooks that are playing like they are the bait fish.
Normally, our bookings are full by now, but due to the times (like everything else) we do have a few spots left. This is a full package. All you need is the flight there, and you will get taken care of. Your rod will be bent more than than you ever imagined. We are not fishing the rivers we are catching all the salmon in staging, and feeding patterns in the Gulf. They are fresh and strong, and fabulous eating. Also, what makes our location prime is the world class halibut, Ling, yelloweye, rockfish fishery.
take care, Hopefully we get some interests,

The fishing here in BC in may (not usually our hot month), has been the best seen in 40 years!!! Our primetime is June, July August and this is unheard of fishing for this time of the year! This summer is shaping up to be one of the best in recent history! Offering specials now for our 2 remaining dates...give a shout if interested!
