 Another great day with DTA

I talked my good friend Don The Angler into taking me fishing this morning and it paid off. 300 fish on the counter by 11:30 AM.  Several hybrids and a bunch of magnum sandies. We pretty much caught fish non-stop all morning until we saw a rain cloud coming. I'll let Don fill in the details.

LL is at it�s best of the year now in my opinion. The fish were on every spot we tried this morning and the dinks have disappeared, too. We may have landed 5 dinks entire morning. The weather was perfect until the rain started about 11:30 AM. We were able to keep just ahead of the rain until we got to the dry storage and we both got wet then. The flies by night and slabs were the ticket again today with many doubles. Enjoyed the day BigDad! Already got a trip planned for tomorrow. Told the wife we will get reacquainted when the bite slows some.

Yeah we had a few ourselves. My son-in-law,daughter and grandsons had a good time.  Not bad for a spincast,,,, 21.5 inches.

DTA, ya'll should've went east. We went to pier 121 for an hour then went back out. We kept about 25 decent sandies and released all the hybrids. Except the two over 20" that is. Got off the lake about 2:30.

Bassr1 good to see the little guys get some fish, Enjoyed fishing by you early. Grandpa Tim hooked one of the largest Hybrids I have seen but he broke off at the net . So if you catch a really large Hybrid with a white and green slab hanging from his mouth you know where it came from!
We got soaked on the boat ramp at noon and drove home 3 miles west and they had no rain. go figure.

It was great meeting you, too. Thanks for letting us be apart of the festivities. Taking the wife out this morning, I hope we can get her one of the big'uns. I had a 20"er but no pics. went into the livewell, quickly.
