Put some Suffix Seige 10# camo on one of my baitcaster reels so far so good, kinda hard to see but the line is silky smooth

+1 on the Suffix Seige. I used to use the clear blue Stren but I seemed to break off too easily. I use the 8# Suffix Seige on my timber rods and find myself grabbing a towel to either break off or bend the hooks. Those line cuts really hurt

On Tues a Sandbass and a brush pile was responsible for turning my tip section into 3 pieces. I ordered a new rod Tues night + a tip section. Now I have another 8'er and replaced my tip section on my other one. Now I have an extra and sometimes I need 2. Love my ProAngler rods. After it broke I had to use another rod that was responsible for my shoulder, neck and arm to be hurting the rest of the week.
Thank you Jay Don FinnyTribe

Those line cuts really hurt Ain't that the truth! After the LOP tourney I counted 7 cuts on my left index finger alone....oh well, it's the price you pay

Ok, here are my results. I put fresh Vicious 6# on two Shamino Syncopate spinning reels, one on a Wally Marshall rod and one on ProAngler rod. Both rods 8ft. I fished with each for 3 days, trying to fish them evenly in time. The line still curled a rod length up on the PA rod, but not to the same extent. I also noticed that on the WM rod it curled as well but even to a lesser extent. The main difference between the two is the radius of the turn that the line makes across the tip guide. The WM is ceramic and larger diameter than the PA which is Stainless steel and smaller. I think that is the difference along with the better quality line. I will just have to live with it. I prolly need to cut off a 6 ft section of line every couple of hours anyway. ED, thanks for your tip on the Vicious line. PS I found the PA rod easier to fish with. It is lighter in weight and very sensitive to bites. Overall I like it (PA rod) better than the WM rod and it costs about 20 bucks less. CrappieKyle
