This afternoon I fished with friends Rudy and Jose. Headed straight to a spot I had checked yesterday with no luck, however DTA had told me they were there today. They were there - we probably could have stayed there til dark catching but decided to try elsewhere - hit the gravel pits for a while and found them stacked up on a hump. We then tried a couple of other spots with no luck and called it a day.
We caught @ 200 sandbass and 2 keeper hybrids. Very nice day of fishing with some good company.

Lewisville is getting HOT!!!!!! I'll be out Saturday, but will probably avoid the lake the rest of the weekend. Way to go Papa!!!!

This weekend would be a great time to go to Lewisville ... pack your folding chair, sun umbrella, cooler with preferred drink on ice, and a video camera with spare batteries ...

you got that right!! everyone who owns a boat and uses it 2 times a year will be out there trying to use it this weekend.

Here's Papa with his 6.5 lb hybrid! A great day on the water, with Jose and Papa Peck! We caught a ton of fish, and quality fish!



Final Tally of those kept was 30 sandies, over half of them magnums, and my 4 lb hybrid. Papa's 6.5 lb'er was returned to the water to give someone else a thrill!

Yep today is the last day to fish in peace. I laughed yesterday when I was at the store and counted 5 fishing boats heading out to LL around 5:15 because we know better than to be out there this weekend. Good job on the Fish!

Nice HAUL there Papa. I think we're going to give Ray Bob a try tomorrow. Don't want to get caught up in the Drama on LL. Although, we will probably be out on LL Sunday morning, before all the drunks, figure after alot of partying Friday night and all day Saturday it may take'm a minute to get mobile on Sunday. LOL.
