found some birds working off the private yacht marina on the east side around late evening. caught about 25-30 sandies, kept only 13 or so. never really stayed constant, birds were moving up and down the shoreline pretty quickly.

saw two game wardens on the lake. and they were busy stopping boaters and handing out tickets.

I caught 25 in front of West Bay. Moved out to the flats and caught a few nice bigger fish. Tried over South of the island and hit about 17 more. Got tired of nearly getting run over so I switched over to catfishing which produced a few blues up to 9 lbs. All fish were released. I never saw the GW but I did see the lake patrol boat working a boat full of drunk half nekked girls. Poor guy.

Good write a bunch of tickets.

It was good to finally meet you yesterday Deerstrangler. I was in the Blue and White boat headed back to the Anglers club just north of the island. Sorry I didn't think to introduce my wife.
